Viewing Ideas of Singapore Basic Education from PISA Performance

新加坡教育被公认为是全球最好的教育体系之一，在2009年、2012年的PISA测试中，新加坡表现突出。新加坡基础教育的发展，是其近年来不断实践教育理念的结果。1997年后新加坡提出“思考型学校学习型国家”、“革新和企业精神”、“少教多学”、“教育的理想结果”等一系列教育理念，近年又提出“21世纪技能”理念，这些都是新加坡教育改革的指导理念。分析和了解这些教育理念，能帮助我们更好地去理解新加坡的基础教育，为我们提供有益的参考。

Singapore education is considered to be one of the best education systems in the world， and it performed well in the PISA 2009 and 2012. Singapore education development is the result of its education ideas practice in recent years. In 1997， Singapore raised ideas of “Thinking Schools， Learning Nation”， “Innovation and Enterprise”，“Teach Less， Learn More” and “Desired Outcomes of Education” and recently Ministry of Education put forward the idea of “21st Century Competencies”. These are guiding ideas for Singapore education reform. Analysis and understanding of these ideas of education can help us better understand Singapore’s education and provide useful experience for our educational development.
