The process of internationalization of Oxford University has undergone several hundred years displaying its unique connotation and ways, showing its different characteristics, targets and strategies. The paper reviews the historical development of the University in its internationalization process and investigates its development form, strategies and motivation，which will be conducive to better understanding the process and content of internationalization of the University and providing worthy reference for the construction and development of China's higher education in becoming international.
