英文摘要 | The education system of junior middle school is three years from grade 6 to grade 8 in America. McGraw-Hill Companies published a set of mathematics materials named IMPACT Mathematics in 2009. The textbooks, which focus on the exploration of mathematic problems, were quite distinctive. The materials include three components: number and algebra, measurement and geometry, probability and statistics, making up about 15:3:2 respectively. We can figure out that number and algebra is very important in American textbooks. In addition, the form of layout and the presentation of knowledge is studied. In the end, we get inspiration form the materials, such as paying more attention to number and algebra and technology, emphasizing exploration and use, laying stress on the close ties to the other subjects. |
