A Short Course on Reflective Teaching Practice provided abundant knowledge of theory and practice on reflecting teaching for college English teachers, creating opportunities for interactive communication at the same time. Reflection is a kind of awareness, as well as activity and ability. The paper sheds light on reflective teaching practice and its significance by illustrating its connotation, importance and approaches. Currently, practicing reflective teaching is the need for both teaching reformation and teachers’ professional development. Only by reflecting in teaching and teaching in reflecting can teaching be more rational and effective. By this way, teachers can have better professional development.
