中文摘要 | 本文旨在基于调查总误差理论(total survey error theory), 为高校的院校研究人员构建一套问卷调查的数据质量策略。本文首先描述了院校研究的特征, 论述了院校研究数据质量问题上有关文献中的空缺之处, 然后介绍了如何从质量的视角考察调查过程以及调查总误差的主要组成部分。本文中提出的数据质量策略从五种调查误差和院校研完调查项目的典型特征出发, 该策略由确定每种调查误差的质量标准, 进而确定每个质量标准的质量控制和质量保证程序组成。结论部分提出这一策略对院校研究人员的启示, 并阐述一些总结性思考 附录中提供了一份检查调查数据质量的核查列表。 |
英文摘要 | This discussion constructs a survey data quality strategy for institutional researchers in higher education in light of total survey error theory. It starts with describing the characteristics of institutional research and identifying the gaps in literature regarding survey data quality issues in institutional research and then introduces the quality perspective of a survey process and the major components of total survey error. A proposed strategy for inspecting survey data quality is presented on the basis of five types of survey error and the characteristics of typical institutional research survey projects. The strategy consists of identifying quality meamres for each type of survey error, and then identifying quality control and quality assurance procedures for each of the quality measures. The discussion concludes with the implications of the strategy for institutional researchers and some closing thoughts. A checklist for inspecting survey data quality is provided in the appendix. |
