英文摘要 | It was an era of constructing the discipline of education in America from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.As the most important leader in the era,John Dewey’s related speeches and actions on the one hand are the kind of indispensable resource from which we understand the state of the construction and development of education discipline.On the other hand,they are the kind of reference from which we can examine the development and changes of the contemporary education disciplines.Dewey's three important documents,as well as the practice that Dewey did at the University of Chicago,including the establishment of the department of education,the experiment school and the school of education,reflect his basic view and vision on the discipline of education,that is,to create a“unified”science of education.This is a kind of ideal Dewey endowed pedagogy.This ideal,however,was difficult to achieve under that realistic conditions. |
