我國境外學校發展與精進之探析

The Study of Development and Improvement for Overseas Taiwan Schools

境外學校是我國在海外推展經濟、外交、教育及文化的平台，同時，亦具備私人興學及照顧臺商家庭的功能。本文旨在探析我國境外學校的發展與精進，以五所海外臺灣學校及三所大陸地區臺商學校為例，首先分析境外學校教育的意涵，其次說明我國境外學校之成立背景與現況，接著探討我國境外學校面臨的挑戰，計有「學校受國內外法令雙重限制或政經局勢影響甚鉅」等七項，最後提出「法規宜彈性調整或適度鬆綁，因應境外學校特殊需求」等七項精進之建議。

Overseas schools are the platform to develop overseas economy, diplomacy, education and culture in Taiwan. They also provide opportunities to establish private schools overseas, and assist overseas businessmen’s children schooling. The main purpose of this paper was to explore the development and improvement of overseas Taiwanese schools. Firstly, it analyzed the meaning and the function of overseas schools education. Secondly, it demonstrated the historical context and current situation of five Taipei schools and three Taiwan businessmen’s children schools. Furthermore, seven challenges have been examined. Finally, it concluded with seven suggestions to improve the quality of overseas Taiwanese schools.
