英文摘要 | Dr. Anthony E. Kelly is a Professor of College of Education and Human Development and the Chair of Instructional Technology Program at George Mason University. He has also held the post of intermittent expert at the National Science Foundation and as program manager at the Division of Research on Learning in Formal and Informal Settings and the Directorate of Education and Human Resources since 1997. He has been a visiting professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore (2004)and at University of California at Davis(1996-1997). Varied employments and working experiences have shown his fine achievements in the theory and practice of education. He has just been awarded the Fulbright New Century Scholar (2009-2010). Furthermore, Dr. Kelly has also undertaken the editorial board member and the reviewer for some famous journals such as Educational Psychologist, Educational Researcher, Educational Technology Research and Development, Journal of the Learning Sciences and so on. Dr. Kelly has extensive researches and he mainly concern cognitive neuroscience and education, and the use of technology in education and learning sciences. Having been the expert at NSF for long time, Prof. Kelly is excellent in researches on the educational research method and evaluation, especially, on design research due to his continually concerning with the programs of design research supported by NSF. He head the list to edited two important
handbooks about education research methods-Handbook of research design in mathematics and science education (2000) and Handbook of design research methods in education (2008). The 2008 handbook, including many researchers' ideas and cases of design research, is the most comprehensive book on such theme. In this interview, Prof. Kelly shares with us his own ideas about commissive space of design research and discusses some important issues on design research about that Chinese researchers may still are unclear, including the key conceptions of design research, the status in quo of research on design research and its development, the problems confronting design researchers. All in all, his respondence to the interview provides much useful information such as cases and resoures for us to understanding design research more deeply. |
