英文摘要 | By examining the change process of the rural school education, this study intends to reveal how the state, through a variety of system design, completed the implantation of modern space-time awareness-" clock time awareness" and "abstract space awareness" in the system of rural school education. In this process, the traditional rural space-time awareness, was eliminated. The analysis of empirical data shows that there were potential conflicts and tensions for rural students in space-time awareness. On this account, the paper reflects on the problems and limitations of rural education in the top-down national modernization and points out the value and the possible roles of rural culture in the modernized construction of education. |
