英文摘要 | Phrased retirement is a retirement policy adopted by American colleges and universities to encourage faculty to retire earlier. Phrased retirement policy contains a set of terms and conditions, including eligibility requirements, participation period, work assignment, salary and benefits, insurance, social security and pensions, faculty rights and responsibilities, departmental logistics and supports. Phased retirement plan provides an opportunity for individual career flexibility and forms an important part of the long-range personnel resource management of the colleges and universities. Thus, many researchers and higher education administrators viewphased retirement as a "win-win" policy. |
