全球化背景下耶鲁大学与哈佛大学国际化策略评析

Comparison of the Internationalization Strategies between Yale University and Harvard University

作为具有较高国际化水平的世界一流大学，耶鲁大学与哈佛大学的国际化推进策略具有不同的特点。耶鲁大学采取了长期目标与阶段性计划相结合，在计划中逐步深化的策略，而哈佛大学则充分发挥学院的自主性，同时致力于提高不同学院国际化活动的协调性和行政部门服务的专业性。对比这两所大学的国际化策略对我国大学有效推进国际化进程具有一定的参考和借鉴意义。

Although Harvard University and Yale University are both world-class universities with high level internationalization, they adopt different strategies. Yale University adopts the central-planned way, combining long-term goals and short-term strategies and projects. Harvard University adopts the decentralized way, encouraging the faculties' international efforts by professional support while trying to get higher integration under some policies. To review and analyze the strategies of internationalization of the two universities could provide reference to the effective internationalization of universities in China.
