高等教育联动改革与协调发展是区域经济发展到一定阶段的必然要求。新世纪以来，在政府主导、社会推动、高校参与下，长三角地区通过举办教育论坛、开展校对校交流、签订教育合作协议等，进行联动改革的积极探索和实践。高等教育联动改革和协调发展有利于教育资源整合和结构优化，有利于促进区域经济一体化，有利于推动区域经济结构调整和产业升级，是我国经济、人才、教育等发展战略的重要举措和推动力。

Joint reform and coordinated growth in higher education is a necessary requirement when regional economy develops to a certain stage. In the new century， the Yangtze River Delta has been exploring and practicing joint reform through hosting education forums， conducting inter-university exchanges， and signing educational collaboration agreements， etc. Joint reform and coordinated growth of regional higher education facilitates the integration and optimization of educational resources， and promote the integration， structural adjustment， and industrial upgrading of the regional economy.
