中文摘要 | 教育资源投入对学生学业成绩的影响问题一直是教育经济学界研究的热点问题,也是各国制定教育政策的重要基础。本研究基于BEWAP项目监测与评估2006年与2008年的调查数据,采用影响力评价的倍差法和教育生产函数,探讨教育资源投入对学生学业成绩的影响、评估西部地区基础教育发展项目(BEWAP)对五省区部分农村中小学教育质量的影响。经研究发现,在控制家庭、学生自我期望等相关因素后,教师任职资格、是否骨干教师、生均图书册数、生均计算器台数等资源投入对学生学业成绩产生显著影响。此外,从BEWAP项目角度来看,学校办学条件改善和教师培训项目干预与学生总体成绩提高之间存在正相关关系,而且项目的实施对于弱势群体学业成绩的发展已经显现正向凈效应。 |
英文摘要 | The impact of educational resource input on student academic achievement has been always a hot topic in educational economics research; it is also the important foundation for educational policy making. Based on the data from the Basic Education in Western Areas Project (BEWAP) survey in 2006 and 2008, using statistical analysis techniques of impact assessment such as difference-in-difference and education production function, the research investigated the impact of educational resource input on student academic achievement and assessed the impact of BEWAP on the education quality of some rural primary and secondary schools in five provinces and auto nomous regions. The result s show that in the control of the effects of family, self-educational expectation and other relevant factors, the educational resource inputs, such as teachers’ qualification, being key teacher or not , the number of books and computers per student, have noticeable impact on student achievement. Besides, from the angle of BEWAP, there is positive relation between the improvement of school facilities and the intervention o f teachers’ training program and the improvement of student overall achievement. Moreover, the implementation o f the program has showed positive net effect on the academic achievement of disadvantaged students. |
