With the globalization in the 20th century， new curriculum reform in every country focuses on at least one foreign language. Based on data analysis， the studies found that English which few countries took into school curriculum in 1920s had been one of the most popular courses at the end of 20th century. There are probably three reasons， political situation changes of the world， world-cultural system's institutional influence and the idea that English is no longer seen as a carrier of Western ideologies.
