中文摘要 | 作為近期發生的一個反動事件,香港的反送中運動影響甚鉅且深具標誌性意義。在這個社會運動中,不單單是有人民站起來(se soulever)這個具體行動,同時,事件相關的影像也讓整個社會都被翻動了起來。它們喚醒了意識,凝聚了民眾,甚至讓衝突被記錄、被歌頌、被銘刻為歷史。在這場戰役中,藝術家們在街頭與網路打游擊戰,而藝術則成了一種具有即時性特質的武器。當中的抗爭圖像疊合了過去的圖像脈絡與當下的訴求,成為屬於這個世代的新抗爭視覺語言。科技、創意與機動性也讓眾人皆成無名的藝術家,共同形塑了運動的藝術性,並實踐出了社會雕塑的想像。最後,這些藝術的意義不只在於事件當下,更重要的是成為痕跡,讓事件能以更深刻的方式被永久記憶。

英文摘要 | As a recent example of a rebellion, the Hong Kong protests of 2019-2020 were a social movement of great influence and iconic significance. In this movement, not only the specific actions of the people’s “uprising” (se soulever) for themselves, but also the images related to these events turned the whole society upside down. The movement awakened people’s consciousness, brought people together, and even allowed conflicts to be recorded, celebrated, and engraved into history. In this special battle, artists fought guerrilla warfare on the streets and on the Internet, while art became a weapon of immediate effectiveness. The graphics of this struggle superimposed the context of past images on the demands of the present, and became the new visual language of the struggles of this generation. Technology, creativity, and mobility also turned everyone into obscure artists, shaping the artistry of this movement and realizing the imagination of social sculpture. Finally, the significance of these art works lies not only in the moment of the event, but more importantly, it becomes a reminder for the future, allowing events to be remembered in a more profound way.
