改革开放以来，王承绪在恢复、发展中国比较教育学科的过程中，在哲学方法论、具体学科研究方法以及操作性研究方式和技术等三个层面，探索和建构了具有中国特色的比较教育研究方法体系，具有不可忽视的学术价值和现实指导意义。

Since the reform and opening-up policy in 1980's in China， Prof. Wang Cheng-xu has engaged in the study of comparative education research methods in three aspects: philosophical methodology， discipline methodology and operational research methods and technology. His remarkable work is valuable for the development of academic thoughts.
