The Evolution of Western Theories of Educational Innovation

20世纪60年代以来，西方教育创新研究大体经历了三个发展阶段：20世纪60年代的技术视角；20世纪70年代的政治视角；20世纪80年代以来的组织文化视角。总体而言，技术视角将重心放在创新的采纳上，政治视角批判性地分析了创新过程中的权力关系，组织文化视角则探究了学校文化和行为模式对于创新的影响。

The study of western theories of educational innovation can be roughly divided into three stages since 1960's. Accordingly， there appeared three perspectives， i.e. technological， political and organizational-cultural. Generally， technological perspective focused on factors influencing the adoption of innovation. Political perspective critically analyzed the power structure in the process of educational innovation. Organizational-cultural perspective explored the impacts of school culture and behavioral patterns on innovation.
