Take Steps to Ensure Earthquake Safety in Schools-A Review of OECD's Programme on Educational Building (PEB) Research and Recommendations

针对汶川大地震中出现的学校倒塌及师生伤亡等不幸事件，作者介绍了OECD的PEB项目开展的学校地震安全的相关研究，特别是重点介绍了2005年OECD理事会批准的《OECD有关确保学校在地震中安全的指南建议》的主要内容，并联系这项研究及其政策建议对当前我国开展相关的灾后重建工作提出了建议。

In addressing the tragic accidents of collapse of school buildings and injury and death of school occupants during the Wenchuan Earthquake， the author makes a detailed introduction of the research and recommendations by OECD's Programme on Educational Building (PEB)， focusing more on the OECD Recommendation Concerning Guidelines on Earthquake Safety in Schools approved by the OECD Council in 2005. The author puts forth some policy suggestions towards the post-disaster reconstruction work currently undertaken by the Chinese government and people based on the research and recommendations.
