Voice conversion is a common issue for Chinese-English inter-translation， and importance is self-evident. This paper is designated to probe this issue in the perspective of the paragraph in which the sentence to be translated locates. Thematic consistency is the most important basis for the conversion of voice， and it is of no practical use to explore the issue of voice conversion with no consideration of the paragraph in which the sentence discussed locates.
