Rational Thinking and Exploration on the Role of Higher Vocational Institutions

高职教育是高等教育的一种重要的特殊类型，一所高职院校科学合理的定位不仅有利于自身的发展，而且有利于推进整个高职教育系统的健康运行。高职院校应在对办学定位进行理性思考的基础上，积极面对当前办学定位中存在的现实问题，探索应对策略。

Higher vocational education is an important and special type of higher education. If each higher vocational institution can well understand its role， then it will not only be favorable to the school’s development， but also promote the whole higher vocational education smoothly. Higher vocational institutions should solve concrete problems how to play their roles at present and explore countermeasure based on rational thinking about their jobs.
