Colleges’ Power Mechanism and Regulations in China

目前我国高校管理体制包含有党委会领导、校长负责制以及教授治校等多元治理模式，权力交织却职责不清，这使一流大学的建设面临严峻的挑战。现代大学制度的实质在于权力结构的平衡与制约，这就应是党委会决策，校长行政执行和学术委员会监督的三权分立模式。

There are several modes of government such as party leadership， president execution and faculty governance in Chinese universities and colleges. Universities’ development needs modern university system， a mode of “Separation of the Three Powers”， that is party’s legislation， President’s administration and faculty board’s supervision.
