Institutes for Advanced Study：A Comparative Analysis of Their Models and Missions

本文在考察高等研究院起及构筑理念的基础上，对全球六个高等研究院的构建、发展及现状进行了总结和分析；在提炼高等院研究院应具备的办院理念、发展使命、组织机等内容的基础上，本文又结合我国的现实情况，结合现阶段所处的创新时代独特特征，提出我国应建设国家级高等研究院，并对建设方案给出了建设性的意见。

The article studies the creation， development and current condition of six institutes for Advanced Study（IAS） in the world today（including two from China）， and proposes a general model of IAS involving its mission， development goals and organizational structure. It then discusses the unique characteristics of the innovation period China now stands in， and recommends China to build a national IAS.
