构建学习型社会是知识经济发展的一个必然要求。在学习型社会里，需要重新阐释「人」、「学习」、「学习能力」等概念，确立起「人是学习的动物」、「学习是人自我实现、超越的过程」、「学习能力是人自身发展、超越的能力」等理念，以便为学习型社会的构建奠定坚实的理论基础。

The construction of learning society is necessary for the development of knowledge-based economy. In order to establish a solid theoretical foundation for the construction of learning society， the concepts such as “human”， “learning ability” need to be reinterpreted; ideas like “human is a learning animal”， “learning is a process of self-fulfillment and self-realization”， “learning ability is a sort of ability for human to realize self-development and self-realization” need to be established.
