Looking Back and Ahead：China’s Educational Philosophy in the 20th Century

中国教育哲学的研究具有很长的学科前史。早在古代，思想家们对教育问题的论述就不局限于一些具体的见解，而是经常从哲学或人生论的角度来论述。例如，《中庸》开篇在论述什幺是[教]时就说：[天命之谓性、率性之谓道、修道之谓教。]这样一来，对教育问题的理解就与天命论、人性论结合起来，成为一种具有哲学意味的论述。

The author sums up and analyses the historical stages， basic characteristics， and main problems of China's educational philosophy in the 20th century， examines the elements of ＂modem philosophy＂ of China's 20th century educational philosophy， and critically thinks about the elements from the angle of post-modern philosophy. On this basis， the author tries to clarify his views on the directions of China's 21stt century educational philosophy for colleagues' critique.
