大數據應用於電視劇本之創作《我們與惡的距離》個案研究

The Application of Big Data to TV Script Creation: A Case Study of“The World Between Us”

電視劇《我們與惡的距離》乃大數據分析與劇本創作二者融合之首例，播出後獲得「金鐘獎」的肯定，其中包括戲劇節目編劇獎。對此成功之首創，本研究訪問此合作中四位關鍵成員，以探討將大數據運用於劇本創作的過程與貢獻。經整理與分析訪談資料，主要結果顯示劇本的創作經歷四個階段：一、提出及確認問題；二、融入大數據分析；三、執行田調及調整劇本構想；四、編寫與完成劇本。其中第二階段又包含探詢摸索、資料準備、聚焦探勘等步驟。整體而言，大數據分析有助於劇本元素如情節、角色、對白的創作。依據此次合作的過程及成果，本研究進一步對未來節目的籌製提出建議。

The TV series “The World Between Us” is the first case to merge big data analysis into script creation. After presenting, it earned recognition by Golden Bell Awards, including “Best Writing for a Television Series”. Regarding this successful innovation, this study interviewed four crucial members in this cooperation so as to explore the process and contributions for the application of big data to script creation. Through collating and analyzing interview data, primary results show that the script creation fulfilled four stages, including: (1) introduce and identify problems; (2) integrate big data analysis; (3) undertake field studies and adjust script concepts; (4) compose and finish the script. And the second stage consisted of procedures such as inquiry, data preparation and mining. Overall, the big data analysis is helpful to the creation of script elements including plots, characters and dialogue. Based on the process and achievement of this cooperation, this study further proposes suggestions for the creation of TV programs in the future.
