Examining Inappropriate Posts for Children and Teenagers on Taiwan's Apple Daily Facebook - A Content Analysis

"本研究探討近五年臺灣蘋果日報網路社群兒少不宜內容分級、比率、與按讚、留言、分享行為間的關係。透過Facebook API擷取2013至2017年所有貼文資料（N=2,953）並進行隨機抽樣，接著透過內容分析法運用修改版的RSACi網路內容分級評估表分析樣本中的兒少不宜內容。結果顯示，樣本貼文中達三成具兒少不宜內容，其中又以赤裸類別為最多；而該類貼文的按讚、留言、分享次數亦顯著高於其他類型，且新聞發佈年份對赤裸類別貼文具調節效果。並在本研究中討論其可能的影響與相關建議。"

This study examined posts inappropriate for children and teenagers and the associated Likes, Shares and Comments on one of the most influential public media in Taiwan-Apple Daily's Facebook. Researchers first crawled all posts (N=2,953) between 2013 and 2017 using Facebook API tool and then randomly selected 150 posts for further analyses. The selected posts were analyzed and classified according to RSACi rating scale which was modified for this study. The results indicated that one-third of the posts contained inappropriate content. Specifically, ''Nudity'' was the most common type. Also, interactivity levels including likes and shares were significantly higher when ''Nudity'' content was present. In addition, a moderator variable (year) had a statistically significant impact on ''Nudity'' content. Potential influences and suggestions are discussed.
