Research on the Modernization of University Governance from the Perspective of Cooperative Governance

It is an important proposition for the development of higher education and to ensure the quality of education to improve the structure of university governance and optimize the work of university governance at the time of accelerating the construction of “two first-class” construction. On the basis of clarifying the strategic value of university governance and examining the practice of university governance， this paper sums up the governance predicament that the current universities are facing in order to improve the governance structure as the core characteristics. Furthermore， through the in-depth analysis of the status quo of university governance power，it is pointed out directly that the disequilibrium of governance power is the main cause of the difficulties in the governance of universities， which not only shows the relative strength of the administrative power of universities， but also the risk of losing control of the academic guidance power， as well as the overall weakness and society of the students’ participation in power. Therefore， we should recognize and clarify the role of the multi-governance subject， and promote the modernization of university governance through the cooperative governance mechanism ，the scientific allocation of university governance resources， the role of student group participation， and the promotion of supervision and evaluation of university governance.
