Pave the First Cornerstone for Life Development：Goal, Contents and Implementation Approaches of Infants’ career Development Education

The goal of career development education for preschool children is centered on “career enlightenment” and aims at paving the cornerstone for their career development. The contents consist of at least three themes: enlightenment of self-concept and career awareness， preliminary exploration of social profession and working world， and inspiration of attitude， value and life ideal. As for implementation approaches， the courses of career development education should be designed to be integrative with other courses in kindergarten and make them all progress as the whole. A few suggestions are proposed on infants’ career development education: Firstly， researchers and kindergartens should improve professional consciousness， make full use of professional advantages and develop high-quality courses. Secondly， kindergarten should become the “enabler” for the alliance between parents and schools in order to cultivate and inspire the coaching skills of family for career development. Finally， a collaborative working mechanism led by government and actively participated by the whole society should be constructed for infants’ career development education.
