The Contemporary Myth and the Wise Way of Educational Technology

With the rapid development of information technology， more and more intelligent new technologies are being applied to education. Educational technology presents a prosperous scene， but education itself has not yet changed substantially. Through combing the core elements of the development of educational technology and viewing education and technology， this paper conducts an in-depth reflection of the relationship of the two in educational technology and explores the essential reason of the ＂prosperity illusion＂. Technology perpetuates change in education， therefore， while applying technology， we should return to the essence of education and understand ＂technology＂ accurately. This paper proposes that we should choose effective ＂skill＂ to seek a reasonable ＂strategy＂ and use technology wisely to solve educational problems， by endeavoring on top-level design， technique concept， application principles and resource construction and striving to seek the wise way out for the transformative development of educational technology.
