英文摘要 | In the modern Internet age, the development of technology provides an unprecedented opportunity for the internationalization of curriculum in higher education. How to promote the internationalization with technology is the focus of our practice in recent years. In the past two years, based on Wolearn platform, we are committed to the practice and research of MOOG-based blended learning between Chinese and Foreign universities. We successively contacted some universities in UK and China to carry out this innovative teaching practice. Among these practices, we tried to push Chinese academics to integrate UK MOOCs with their local face-to-face instructions, and we also constructed an interactive activity framework for the video conference among UK academics and Chinese learners. In this paper, based on three MOOCs created by UK academics from three different disciplines, we examined this transnational blended learning model. The results indicated that the Chinese students and academics were satisfied with this new approach towards the internationalization of curriculum. Students also showed a positive attitude towards the UK MOOCs and the transnationally interactive video conferences. However, language barriers and the network environment are the main factors influencing MOOG-based blended learning. |
