英文摘要 | Cardinal Principals of Secondary Education is one of the most important reports in the histo- ry of American Secondary Education of 20th century. It was completed by the Commission on the Reorgan-^ation of Secondary Education,a comm i ttee affiliated with American National Education Association,and mainly discussed such major ssues as the objectives, position, functions of secondary education, its articulation with elementary and higher education,the adjustment of school system,and the division of learning stages in the development of American secondary education of early 20th century. Besides,the report in- volved some other topics of American secondary schools,such as ts organization and management,curriculum planning,part-time schooling and so on. “Seven Principles of Secondary Education” formulated in this report not only exercised a direct influence on the direction and progress of the reform of American secondary education,but also affected the development of secondary education in the world widely. |
