2014年當代聽力學會議紀要

2014 Audiology NOW!

美國聽力學學會於2014年3月26至29日在佛羅里達州奥蘭多舉辦第二十六屆當代聽力學會議，會議的使命是「以領導、代言、教育、大眾認知、與研究證據的支持，去促進聽覺與平衡系統照護之品質」。如同以往，大會安排了多種學習活動，例如展覽廠商報告、專題報告、產業新知、學習實驗室、學習板塊、新產品介紹、研究成果平台、學生研究成果論壇等，提供聽力學學術界與臨床界最大的交流與學習平台。本文摘紀會議中幾個重要議題分享國人：耳鳴的評量與治療、遠距麥克風系統、與遺傳型聽力損失等。

The 26th convention of AudiologyNOW! was hosted by the America Academy of Audiology on March 26-29， 2014， in Orlando， Florida. The mission of the conference was “to promote quality hearing and balance care by advancing the profession of audiology through leadership， advocacy， education， public awareness， and support of research”. Various learning activities were arranged: exhibitor courses， featured sessions， industry updates， learning labs， learning modules， new products sessions， research podiums， student research forums， etc. AudiologyNOW provides a major platform for people of academic and clinical fields to communicate and to learn. Several important topics were summarized in this article in order to share them with those who did not attend the conference: tinnitus， remote microphone systems， and genetic hearing loss， etc.
