Review on the Progress And Enlightenment of Western School Culture Research

西方学校文化研究的兴起与关注学校管理效能有关。在较短时间里，西方学校文化研究在以下几个方面取得了较大成绩：一是厘清了学校文化的概念；二是编制了数量繁多的学校文化测量问卷，用以测量学校文化的特征，区分不同学校之间的文化差异；三是揭示了学校文化与学校管理效能、学生发展和教师职业发展之间的关系；四是确定了优秀学校文化的特征，为塑造学校文化提供了可操作的建议。这些研究对于我国学者从事学校文化研究和建设具有重要的借鉴意义。

The school culture is the key to school reform and development as it exerts the remarkable influence on teacher and student's development. In fact，school culture has been an important issue in Western education research for a long time. Based on reviewing plentiful literatures，the paper summarizes the western school culture research from following four aspect：concept definition，research tool，the effect and the reform of school culture. In the end，the paper puts forward some suggestions for our school culture research and practice.
