英文摘要 | Harvard Graduate School of Education launched a new and practice-based doctoral program, “Doctor of Education Leadership Program,,(Ed . L . D),and created new interfaculty Ph . D . programs in education to be offered jointly by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in 2014,to succeed and replace its nearly 90~year-old Ed . D degree. The reform has transformed research and study in a single subject into interfaculty collaboration. Drawing upon intellectual resources of the entire university, the new Ph. D . programs aim at addressing the most important issues of the 21st century,cultivating leadership in education,and continuing the liberal arts tradition and spirit of Harvard University. The interfaculty collaboration and joint degree offering at Harvard University can offer a good example for Chinese higher education institutions. |
