A Study in Lexicalization of 「Wei Yi」 and other Related Problem

「逶迤」一詞來自於先秦典籍中的「委蛇」，本文徹底分析「委蛇」演變至「逶迤」過程中字形、字形及字義的種種變化，利用韻律構詞學確立「委蛇」的複合詞地位，再分析複合詞「委蛇」演變至「逶迤」的過程，並證明複合詞「逶迤」如何進一步演變成聯緜詞，其間雙音詞內部的形音變化過程，並非單一過程即可完成，詞語內部的競爭與選擇，以及實際的語用情況，都是影響變數之一。後以聯緜詞「逶迤」為首，探討衍生出的其他聯緜詞，如「邐迤」等詞，這一連串的分析與論證，證實由雙音節詞演進至複合詞，所必經面臨的的種種形音義的各種變化。

The word of "逶迤（wēi yí）"comes from "委蛇（wēi yí）" of classical books in earlier than Qin Dynasty. From the process of evolution of "逶迤（wēi yí）" to "委蛇（wēi yí）", the first is prosodic word "委蛇（wēi yí）" became to compound words "逶迤（wēi yí）". Although the print and and pronunciation were unsettled, but the meaning of the word to interpret meandered had been already finished. From the Western Han Dynasty, the first step of "委蛇（wēi yí）" became to "逶迤（wēi yí）"was started. After determined the print and and pronunciation, the next step was prosodic word bacame to compound words. This process spend the Western Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty. This period the process of changes at the print and and pronunciation of compound words was not single process. Competition and choice and language useing were conducted inside of the word. These are one of effected variables. Next, the beginning of Lianmian-words "逶迤（wēi yí）" will derive the other Lianmian-words ex:"邐迤（lǐ yǐ）". It will been closely related with "逶迤（wēi yí）" at the print , the meaning and pronunciation. And, This series of words in the language the status has left a deep imprint.
