An Analysis on Australian Government Quality Teacher Program——From the Perspective of Enhancing Teacher Professional Quality

"澳大利亚政府优质教师计划"(AGQTP)为澳联邦政府制定、推行的一项"旗舰型"教师专业发展政策,计划的首要目标在于提升教师的专业素质。立足于教师专业素质提升的视角,可以考察得出结论:计划的实施较好地实现了预设目标;进一步探究其原因可发现,计划在统领实践的框架、活动实施模式、活动开展渠道及价值取向等四方面颇具特色。

Australian Government Quality Teacher Program(AGQTP for short) is one of the "flagship policies" of teacher professional development which are constituted and implemented by Australian Commonwealth Government. The main objective of this initiative is to improve teacher professional quality. From the perspective of enhancing teacher professional quality, it can be concluded that AGQTP has reached its main goal. The reason for that refers to the features from four aspects: framework of practice, activity modes, delivery channels, and value orientation.
