我国高等教育效率增长率区域差异及其影响因素分析——基于空间计量模型的实证研究

The Analysis on Regional Difference of Higher Education Productivity and Its Influencing Factors in China——An Empirical Study Based on the Space Econometric Model

本文运用了动态方向性距离函数对1995年-2009年中国高等教育效率进行了核算,在此基础上从空间外溢的角度考虑了影响区域高等教育效率增长的因素。研究发现我国区域高等教育效率存在正向空间相关关系,高等教育效率表现出明显的区域性。人力资本对于高等教育效率增长存在正向影响,地区经济增长和财政支出比重对于高等教育效率的提高无明显影响,人力资本具有负向空间溢出效应而地区经济增长具有正向空间溢出效应。

In this paper the regional higher education productivity is constructed with dynamic slacks-based measure (DSBM), using 1992-2009 provincial panel data in China. The factors that may influence the regional higher education productivity are investigated, too. The results show that: (1) there is spatial correlation among regional higher education productivity, and they show obvious regional characteristics; (2) human capital contributes to the growth of higher education productivity, the regional growth and the ratio between fiscal expenditure and GDP have no obvious effect. Human capital has a negative spatial spillover effect to higher education productivity, while the regional growth has a positive spatial spillover effect to it.
