英文摘要 | Workplace learning is an important part of lifelong learning, and workplace is a major space for learning in most people's life. For individuals, workplace learning can help them realize their value and career development. For organizations, workplace learning can facilitate their sustainable development. For society, workplace learning can enhance its adaptability to changing environment. Human Resource Development (HRD) is an emerging area in China, and Chinese universities are developing HRD programs to meet the growing needs for HRD scholars and practitioners. Since HRD has a relatively long history of development in the U. S. , and many American HRD academic programs are influential, it has become critical to leverage the American experience to facilitate the growth of HRD in China. Dr. Ronald L. Jacobs, one of the leading thinkers in the HRD field, was interviewed and shared his insights on HRD including workplace learning and performance consulting-two areas that we can put HRD into practice. |
