臺灣報紙社論之高等教育議題報導分析：以《聯合報》與《自由時報》為例

本研究係在分析《聯合報》與《自由時報》兩大報紙社論中，對於高等教育議題的討論與刊登狀況。研究者分析2005～2015年間，兩大報紙所刊登的7447篇社論中，對於高等教育議題的報導狀況與所持立場。以上述社論報導內容進行分析後，提出本研究四項結論：一、高等教育議題報導量因報別不同而有差異；二、高等教育議題出版年代配合相關時事；三、媒體組織影響社論報導內容；四、高等教育議題以中國大陸與學生就業議題最多。本研究根據上述研究結果，提出建議與未來可進行的研究方向。

The purpose of this study is to analyze higher education issues from two popular Taiwanese newspapers between the years 2005 to 2015. The author identified 7,447 higher education articles from both the United Daily News and Liberty Times editorials. A content analysis method was used to explore the research. The findings of this study are: a) the number of higher education issues covered in the United Daily News is different from the Liberty Times, b) in recent years, the higher education news accurately reflect important happenings and issues from those years, c) media organizations have a big influence on editorial content, and d) topics on Mainland China and student employment were written about the most frequently. Based on the above findings, this paper discusses previous research results and suggestions for future research.
