從生產老化觀點探討中高齡者的退休準備經驗及對退休前教育的啟示

中文摘要 | 中高齡者退休後仍可透過就業、志願服務、家人照顧等途徑,對社會有所貢獻。本研究旨在從生產老化觀點,探討中高齡者的退休準備經驗,針對21位已退休並繼續在樂齡學習中心貢獻之中高齡者進行訪談,得到對退休前教育的啟示。研究結果發現,退休者的退休準備經驗包括:一、退休者通常有四種退休原因,其中又以法制因素最為普遍;二、退休者普遍沒有明確的退休規畫;三、退休者鮮少接受退休準備課程;四、退休者沒有進行退休準備,主要歸因於個人與環境兩種因素。本研究對退休前教育的啟示包括:一、政府宜對屆齡退休者加強實施退休準備教育,幫助中高齡者做好準備再退休;二、退休前教育內容重點宜加強退休後生涯規劃與健康教育;三、退休前教育可針對女性家庭負擔方面給予輔導及協助;四、退休前教育課程宜廣泛包含退休者的生理、心理、靈性、社會、理財及貢獻服務等內涵。 |
英文摘要 | Previous studies have shown that retired people can still contribute towards society through different means, such as working paid / unpaid jobs, volunteering, or taking care of family. Hence, the aim of this study was to discuss the experiences of how a group of retirees prepared for retirement, through the perspective of productive aging, and ultimately to find any implications for future pre-retirement education. This study interviewed 21 participants who were already retired and contributing their time in the Active Aging Learning Center. This study discovered that there are 4 main reasons the participants did not have any retirement preparation: a) legal factors, b) no real retirement planning, c) little pre-retirement education, and d) varying individual and environmental factors. Therefore, this study presents the implications that the government should implement preretirement education to include: a) retirement preparation for the elderly, b) retirement career planning and health education, c) counseling and assistance for women, especially with families, and d) information on physiological, psychological, spiritual, social, financial and volunteer services for retirees. |
