中文摘要 | 臺灣處於快速高齡化的社會,生命週期的劃分也要重新思考,下半場人生始於何時?以平均壽命80歲而言,40歲就是另一個起點,先驅研究告訴我們要為退休生活做準備,最好是從45歲開始。研究結果發現,人們對於老年期要準備什麼、應該如何準備,沒有太多的想法。學校教育工作者對於高齡議題接觸的機會比較少,相較於目前各鄉鎮市區之樂齡學習中心的服務者,他們對於高齡社會的認識、活躍老化的理解、學習與準備,相對更為不足。本文的目的是在提供學校教育工作者認識高齡社會趨勢下,為樂齡生涯準備的新觀念。首先,是分析活躍老化理念,其次,是論述活躍老化理念對於下半場人生規劃的啟示,最後,是提供教育工作者面向高齡社會的三個學習準備。 |
英文摘要 | Taiwan has been one of the fastest growing aging societies in which the population of the seniors has outgrown the newborns and gradually the working adults; therefore, the timeline for one’s learning life and cycle has to be re-conceptualized. Average life expectancy is approximately 80 years old, in that sense; it is recommended that retirement plan should start at least at the age of 45. Prior studies have shown that people generally do not have solid or constructive plans about their retirement life. Moreover, educators, in comparison of those staff and instructors in the local senior learning centers, normally lack the knowledge and theoretical foundation in topics of senior learning and later-life education. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and assess necessary knowledge and concepts in later-life learning; furthermore, promoting three critical later-life learning preparation guidelines to educators and staff across the country in order to adequately prepare the imminent aging society. |
