中文摘要 | 為拓展學生國際視野、強化專業新知及技藝能發展,教育部及各大學校院自2010年起補助學生出國參加國際性競賽。為了解競賽獲獎學生與學習成效之相關性,本研究以臺灣某一所大學得獎學生為研究組,並依研究組就讀之學院、學系、年級和性別採1:1比例配對無獲獎紀錄學生為對照組,共計408位,運用校務研究資料庫資料進行分析,以條件式羅吉斯迴歸等方法,探討兩組樣本在學習成效上的差異。研究發現,獲獎學生以女性占多數,在入學管道、班排名百分比、圖書借閱紀錄及海外研習紀錄等變項上,在兩組間均有顯著差異存在(p < 0.05)。整體來說,研究組在學期間之學術表現、學習投入及學習成效均優於對照組,此校務研究發現可供教育相關單位創新發明人才培育參考。 |
英文摘要 | In order to expand students’ global vision and skills development, the Ministry of Education and universities in Taiwan have subsidized students to participate in international competitions since 2010. The study recruited 204 undergraduate students they won the prize from 2010-2016 from a university as the research group, and matching 204 no winning record students from the same college, department, grade and gender as the control group. We got the data from the school research database and employed Rogers regression and other methods to explore the difference between the two groups of learning outcomes. The results showed, female is the majority and there were 4 variables significant differences between the two groups (p < 0.05), including the enrollment pipeline variable, class ranking percentage variable, book borrowing records variable and overseas study records variable. Generally speaking, the research group was better than the control group in learning outcomes. This is a case study on the cultivation of innovative invention talent through institutional research and may serve as a reference for other education institutions and universities. |
