莫拉克風災過後：排灣族藝術家伊誕．巴瓦瓦隆與武玉玲在社群媒體中的創作敘說

After Typhoon Morakot: Creative Narratives of Paiwan Artists Etan Pavavalung and Aluaiy Kaumakan on Social Media

本研究旨在探究在2009年莫拉克風災之後，屏東排灣族藝術家Aluaiy Kaumakan（武玉玲）與Etan Pavavalung（伊誕．巴瓦瓦隆）相關的創作實踐論述，如何以藝術實踐回應氣候與環境變遷。研究者以藝術本位研究觀點，社群媒體為文化場域，從其策展、創作發表後的媒體事件中檢視並建構研究文本，分別從自 述、評論與訪談三類資料中分析其創作論述。研究發現，Aluaiy 將纏繞型態的裝 置藝術視為部落連結的媒介，透過編織、拓印等技法，作為記錄遷徙後女性身分 與環境聯繫的意識；Etan 則是應用Venecik 的文化概念，建構「紋砌刻畫」的創 作形式，詮釋部落傳統智慧與生態關係的內容。最後，兩位排灣族藝術家的情感 與創作實踐，緊密聯繫在耆老與土地的故事、神話的文化記憶，同時也透過作品 再現族語作為藝術實踐回應的中介概念，表徵人文與自然之間的關係，土地是個 人與群體的文化根源，自然則是生命間相互影響的有機體，藝術創作則能作為個 人感受與文化意義交織的詮釋文本，以回應當代氣候與環境變遷的議題。

 

This study aimed to explore the creative practices and discourses of Paiwan artists Aluaiy Kaumakan (Wu Yuling) and Etan Pavavalung in response to climate and environmental changes after the Typhoon Morakot in 2009. Adopting an art-based research perspective and considering social media as a cultural domain, this study examined and constructed the research text from media events following their curation and creative presentations. Specifically, self-narratives, comments, and interviews were analyzed to determine their creative discourse. The analysis results revealed that Aluaiy regarded the intertwining installations as a medium of tribal connection, using techniques such as weaving and rubbing to record the consciousness of post-migration female identity and environmental connections. Etan applied Venecik’s cultural concept and developed the innovative visual art form of trace layer carve paint to interpret traditional tribal wisdom and tribal relationship with the ecological environment. Finally, the emotional and creative practices of the two Paiwan artists are closely linked to the stories of indigenous elders with the land and the cultural memory of myths. The artworks represent indigenous languages as an intermediary concept in artistic practice, which signifies the relationship between humanityand nature, where the land is the cultural root of individuals and communities, and nature is an organism influencing lives. Artistic creation serves as an interpretive text interweaving personal feelings and cultural meanings in response to contemporary issues of climate and environmental change.
