中文摘要 | “问题驱动-讲练结合”的教学方法以问题为核心展开课程,在解决问题的过程中,融入相关学科的基本理论和概念,但不进行深入展开,而只关注这些知识在解决问题的过程中有哪些实际意义。问题即例题。讲解之后,教师提供更多的同类练习,以供学生巩固练习。该方法在跨学科课程教学中尤为有效。笔者以“外语教学与研究统计学”课程为例,通过对59人的实名问卷调查,检验了“问题驱动-讲练结合”教学法在外语专业跨学科课程中的效用。调查结果显示,该方法适应学生的实际情况,满足了他们的预先期待,产生了良好的学习效果。 |
英文摘要 | Problem-driven and Illustration-exercise pedagogy (PDIE) is defined by the author as a teaching method in which a certain interdisciplinary course is developed according to the issues that need to be tackled, in which interdisciplinary basic concepts and theories are integrated into the problem-solving process rather than being explained in details according to the common practice in either one of the two subjects of the interdisciplinary course. Those concepts and theories are the ones that are crucial in problem-solving. Problems are examples. Following the illustration to those examples, more homogenous exercises are provided to the learners to practice. Based on the interdisciplinary course of Linguistic Statistics, the author conducted a quasi-experiment to test the effectiveness of PDIE.59 participants were recruited in two questionnaire investigations before and after the PDIE pedagogy. Results of paired-samples T test indicated that PDIE pedagogy was the teaching method expected by the learners and that they reported more knowledge was acquired effectively. |
