英文摘要 | In order to make university students to possess the comprehensive qualities to conduct scientific research and become innovative and competitive personnel in the world, the training of research ability has always been placed in the core position in the teaching of American universities. ‘Independent study course’ has been one of the important approaches to develop student inquiry ability and creativity in American universities for many decades. The universities have accumulated a lot of useful experiences in the objective orientation, process management, content requirement, resource assurance, result exhibition and assessment for the course. It is worthwhile for universities in China to consult and learn from the experiences. |
