英文摘要 | The development of American for-profit institutes is rapid in recent years. The most significant force is the market-oriented vocational courses they adopt. The notion of the vocational courses is practice-oriented. The content of the vocational courses cater for the requirements of market. The structure of vocational courses is composed of large proportion of professional curriculum and small proportion of general curriculum. There is flexible adjustment of the vocational courses driven by effectiveness. The implementation of the vocational courses focuses on the improvement of student's practical skills. The evaluation of vocational courses from the assessment of professional accreditation agencies is emphasized. |
