论民办教育公益性与可营利性的非矛盾性

Public Benefits and Profitability：Do They Conflict in Minban Education？

“由于民办教育是一种公益性事业，所以不能营利”，这种逻辑成立吗？本文在具体分析阐述民办教育的公益性、可盈利性和可营利性的基础上，认为民办教育的公益性与可营利性并不矛盾，允计部分教育机构合法地营利，不仅无损其公益性，甚至还会促进整个教育事业发展，从而增加社会公益。

“Minban education is a kind of public─benefit， so that it shouldn’t be for─profit”， does this assumption sound reasonable？Based on the analysis of the public─benefits， economic surplus and profitability of Minban education， this paper concludes that public─benefits is not contradictory to profitability in Minban education. If a part of education institutions were permitted to legally seek profit， it would be no harm to public─benefits， but even facilitate education development， thereby enhance public─benefits as a whole.
