全球化和信息技术革命是高等教育变革的主要动力，再加上成人学习者学习需求的增加、传统高等院校学费的增加等因素，在美国刺激了授予学位的营利性大学的发展。本文以凤凰大学为例，对美国营利性大学的发展进行研究，对其迅速崛起的动力进行探究，并讨论其发展带来的影响。

Globalization and the revolution of communication technology are the major power of higher education reforms， as well as the increasing learning requirement of adult students and the rising fees of traditional colleges and universities. Influenced by these factors， for-profit colleges and universities， which grant degrees， develop fast. This paper analyzes the fuels and effects of the development of for-profit colleges and universities.
