The Latest Development of Student Affairs Management Team of American University and Its Inspirations

本研究为教育部学生工作骨干赴美研修项目的子课题。在实地考察了加州大学圣地亚哥分校、柏估利分校、哈佛、耶鲁、哥伦比亚、普林斯顿、宾夕尼亚、马里兰等大学后，考察研究结果表明：美国高校学生事务管理队伍在”全人发展”的理念指导下，队伍的多样化、专业化、学术化趋势得以加强，队伍的职业化建设日益呈现出职业定位明晰化、职业进入标准化、职业培训专业化、职业发展制度化的特点。这对于我国高校学生工作队伍建设具有借鉴意义。

This study was a sub─project of the Ministry of Education sending a group of backbone of student affairs conducing training & research to the United States. As a member of the group， the author investigated and studied at the University of California， San Diego， Berkeley， Harvard， Yale， Columbia， Stanford， Princeton， Pennsylvania and Maryland University. The findings of the study shows that under the guidance of the “all─round development” concept， the diversification. Professional and academic trend of American University Student Affairs management team have been strengthened. The professional career development of the team is increasingly characterized of clear positioning， standardized access to the job， vocational training， and institutionalization of career development. These are of reference value to the construction of students work teams in our university.
