全球化時代對日本大學博雅教育的若干思考

Some Thoughts on Liberal Arts Education in Japanese Universities in the Era of Globalization

在全球化时代，不仅经济面临着各种挑战与变革，而且包括教育在内的社会其它方面也面临着挑战与变革。在以单一世界的“全球化”所表达的这种竞争环境下，发生着全新而多面的变化。那幺，被认为对人类核心精神的形成具有重要作用的博雅教育在日本以及全世界的大学中是如何进行呢？本文在追溯日本博雅教育简史的基础上，重点阐述了20世纪90年代之后的相关改革与发展，以期探索博雅教育在日本的发展前景。

In the era of globalization， not only the economy but also other sectors of a society including education are faced with numerous challenges and changes. In a competitive environment expressed by a single word ＂globalization＂， there take place brand new and multi-faceted changes. How should liberal arts education， which is believed to contribute to the formation of core human mentality， be taught at universities in Japan and around the world? This paper traces the brief history of liberal arts education in Japan with a focus on developments and reforms since the 1990s. In doing so， future prospects for the development of liberal arts education in Japan are explored.
